Spiderman 2 by Satori Vision
Challenges: Spiderman's face is the focal point of the scene while it is also the most forward 3D element. The biggest challenge in this image was keeping the face sharp while pushing the limits of the 62 LPI lenticular lens.
Design Tips: When beginning a tricky 3D conversion I start by defining the extreme foreground and background elements first and then building the rest of the 3D scene within those guidelines.
The image won a 2004 Gold Ink Award for Dimensional Printing.
